Mold Test

Toxic black mold can be expensive to remove and even cause a range of health problems — so testing for black mold is an important first step if you think your home might have a black mold infestation. Sight and smell may give you a good indication of whether or not you have a black mold problem. Black mold tends to have a strong, musty smell, and of course, it displays a trademark black color. Getting a mold test could help you avoid costly repairs later and prevent serious risks to your health.

Mold can develop anywhere: behind drywall, in your attic, in the basement, or under floorboards. You need to be cautious about mold if your home has been exposed to a lot of water as a result of flooding or severe rains, if your home is old and has leaky plumbing, or if you reside in a region with a lot of humidity. The best way to identify mold is visually. Mold growths could be seen on the floor, on the walls, or on the furniture. But if you’re not sure the best thing you can do is have a professional test done.
